Eastern Turkestan National Congress

The Uyghur American Association hereby expresses its unconditional support
for the Eastern Turkestan National Congress, an elected body of Eastern
Turkestanis in exile. The Uyghur American Association joins the
Congress in its call to all Uyghurs abroad and sympathizers of
Eastern Turkestan to support the Congress and join its ranks.
The Uyghur American Association recognizes and supports the Eastern
Turkestan National Congress as the legitimate representatives and
voice of the people of Eastern Turkestan. As conditions within
Eastern Turkestan do not allow the true voice of the people to be
heard, we believe that the Eastern Turkestan National Congress serves
as that voice. The Uyghur American Association: 1. Calls
on the recognition of the Eastern Turkestan National Congress
as the legitimate representatives of the people of Eastern Turkestan
within the United Nations, the United States of America and other
